Description

One of my favorite eras of the Uncanny X-Men is the Outback Era, this is the time I jumped into the modern X-Men (prior I had been reading Classic X-Men from the Byrne Era). I was quite happy to grab a page with all of the team and the panels with Longshot as Art is the father to this character as well.

Arthur Adams annuals are the major events of that time period! His mutant stories are very highly regarded and Evolutionary War is a time capsule of the 1988 X-Men team dynamic.

Wow! An Arthur Adams Uncanny X-Men page! Not too many of those around. And this is an especially cool one, witn the whole team meeting the High Evolutionary! Arthur's work on the Uncanny X-Men Annuals is legendary and this page shows you why. He had a great eye for drawing the mutant team and he created several of their best characters, including Longshot, highlighted here in the bottom panels. Phenomenal pick-up, congrats!
