Description

Simone Bianchi Wolverine mixed media on 11 X 17 colored paper. I loved the colors on this one with the line work and splashes of color off his claws. This is a keeper.

The piece is from 2012 I got it during Matt DiTullio's art drop and claim show (thanks for letting this one go Matt).

Very nice design elements to this one with the half hemisphere, the blood spatter, and those pops of white on Wolverine. Impressive get, Paul, congrats! Was a GOOD buy.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an incredible commission of Wolverine battling unseen enemies. I love the way Bianchi has drawn Wolvie in black and white on a color board and used white paint to highlight the rim light on his back, legs and hair. I love Bianchi's use of extensive crosshatching to accentuate the muscles on Wolvie's arms and legs. The only color is the of the blood from his victims and the half-circle on the wall behind him. In my opinion, this is one of the best Wolverine commissions I've ever seen.
