Description

A mid-1960s cyborg superhero from Japan who appeared in manga and anime. The anime series had 56 episodes. TOBOR had the mind of a murdered detective, possessed super-speed, and the ability to shape shift. One origin story says he's called The 8th Man because he was a professor creator's 8th attempt, and first success, at transferring a human mind into a cyborg.

Man, does THAT bring back memories! I never thought the old man would spring for a TV with UHF channels. And he might never have if my sister hadnt knocked the TV off the stand when she tripped!
