Description

8.75x13" heavy smooth hot press watercolor paper with Denys Cowan and Jimmy Palmiotti's line art transferred via stat. Hand painted by Milestone Color Editor Noelle Giddings, utilizing mixed media (i.e., Dr. Ph. Martin dyes, watercolors, and colored pencils), making this one of the earliest examples of the "Milestone 100 Color Process". This original color art was then used to produce the actual comic book cover for Hardware #1-- the very first book published by DC Comics' Milestone imprint back in April 1993. Cover shows Hardware flying in with forced perspective.

Probably the best cover in the whole of the Milestone run. Certainly one of the best covers of the 90s
