DescriptionIt took Mighty Comics a couple of years, but they finally had The Black Hood once again duke it out with his Golden Age nemesis, The Skull. This is a great 12-page Black Hood story, with the Man of Mystery prominently featured in all but a dozen or so panels. Some of Paul Reinman's best work, IMHO, boldly inked by Chic Stone.Social/Sharing |

Congrats on getting this classic beauty. I loved Archie/MLJ's foray into superheroes, and this is a perfect example. Frame them all and surround a whole room in order!

Hi, Steve. Thanks for the kind comments on this page/story. I'm fortunate enough to have a room in my house that serves as my comic library, but, sadly, there's not nearly enough space for me to frame and display all twelve pages -- at least not without taking down some other pretty cool pages. Instead, I have a 48-page art portfolio filled with two complete Black Hood stories, a 3-page Hood featurette, and miscellaneous pages from Mighty/Red Circle/Impact! books.

Awesome! Your gallery is a wonderland of forgotten by the masses, but not me, classics!
