Description

A great cover from an alternative universe by Italian illustrator, painter and comic book artist DAVID BACTER.

David Bacter is a mysterious figure, his identity is unknown. On public occasions he wears a full-face helmet, which he does not part with even when painting.
In his work, he creates a series of imaginary covers whose graphics and format are reminiscent of the comics of the 1950s, particularly Timely Comics (now Marvel), but also of the infinite world of underground comics such as "Zap Comics" or "American Splendor".
The protagonists of his works are monsters, villains, sad and funny creatures, self-portraits and bumbling superheroes. Real or supposed monsters that hide behind a disturbing normality.
