DescriptionThe final piece in my recent Gambit art run! This was used as a promo piece for the original Gambit mini-series in the early nineties. It was then later used as the cover for Gambit Classic vol. 2 TPB and the back cover for the Rogue and Gambit TPB.It's a massive 18 x 28 single-board piece beautifully done by Weeks. I love that it has our Cajun hero surrounded by the loves of his life. Weeks is a master! Going up on the wall ASAP! Social/Sharing |

Lee Weeks is a generational talent. Gambit is a ragin' cajun.

All around me are familiar faces
Paris places, thrown out aces
Bright big cover for the mini-series
Gambit knows where, going Rogue here
Their artwork filling up two pages
All expression, Guild Assassin
Hide my head, I Bella Donna sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of Remy
I find it kind of rad
The dreams Xavier's trying
Are the best I've ever had
I find a card to LeBeau
I threw the card mistake
When Lee Weeks draws it bigger it's a very, very
Mad world, Moy world

You have a computer program that spits these out for you right?! You HAVE TOO!
Thanks, Marcus! The creativity is appreciated!

Wow, I don't even remember seeing this add back then, or even the trade paperback! Fantastic wrap around, no doubt.

Gambit is over-rated but this is great Rogue artwork :)

Lee was born to draw Gambit. Color me jealous.

A very busy composition for Weeks (whose Kubert influenced style usually is gearing towards more simplicity). But then again comensurate with the 90s.
Also notable that they chose to reverse it when printed because it obviously reads much better in its original position.
Congrats

Lee Week's work on this mini-series really put a stamp on the character and a high bar for following artists ! This piece is one of the very best examples from that terrific work !

2 Weeks AND Gambit homers in a row! Love this one, man. The other you got cover is great, and effective in terms of the 2 single figures against the title lettering backdrop. This? On the other end. So many characters packed into a huge board. Great montage-y scene with nice depth and kineticism ;) Congrats!

I liked Weeks' work on Daredevil, but Gambit is what put him on the map. This is spectacular!
