DescriptionI would usually wait to get home to do a proper scan, but too excited about this pick-up, so I'll post from the Heroes Con!It's a Dave Cockrum X-Men page! It may be a second run page, but it has so many Cockrum creations - Nightcrawler, Colossus, Storm, Gladiator, plus the Shi'ar Empire. To add some extra sweetness, Wolverine claws out and a nice team panel! It was the first appearance of The Brood issue, too. That's right in the wheelhouse of nostalgia! Somehow Chuck looks right in his tan safari outfit amongst all the Shi'ar and costumed X-Men.

That's an amazing array of characters! Dave even snuck in the Metaluna Mutant on the right side of the 3rd panel.

Go figure, on an amazing page with tons of wonderful costumes, the standout fashion statement is Chuck's hat! Seriously though, this is a phenomenal page! Congrats!

Nice james...Some folks need to leave that 1st run versus 2nd run stuff in the dust. These works are going on 40 years old and so much X-men Canon in them it's ridiculous.

holy crap dude. there was no reason at all for that "it may be a second run page" comment - this is top notch X-Men stuff regardless. major congrats looks like Heroes went really well!

Cockrum X-Men is still a classic, no matter whether it's earlier or later in his run (though we all have our preferences). Great Shi'ar lineup in the third panel, but that hat on Professor X is... a choice. Congrats!

Unreal get, man, whew! All you cold want in Cockrum X-Men page, starting with the killer shot of you main man in panel 1! So many characters, AND the first Brood issue?! Yessir! Was glad to have seen this one up close and in person, too. Congrats!
