Description

I commissioned this piece from Zoe and was delighted to find out she was using this image to make limited edition foil prints for an Indiegogo campaign in honor of her late brother James to raise money for mental health charities. The campaign ended up raising $40,000 and showed that art has the power to unite and help people in need. Zoe’s work has personally helped me and it means the world to own such a great work with such a touching story.

Zoe drawing herself is always special because it represents he willingness to put herself out there in the same way autobiographical artists like Pekar, Crumb, Craig Thompson, Ware, and others have done before. It's especially refreshing from someone so young and aware of her own feelings.
