Description

This was the final appearance of the Doctor Who comic strip companion Sharon. She first appeared in 1979 in the comic strip Star Beast, which was reimagined with the 14th Doctor in 2023.

Sharon was the first black companion to travel with the Doctor. The Doctor didn't have a on screen black companions until Mickey Smith and Marth Jones in the 2005 TV revival.

These early Gibbons works are awesome and you can see the world building being slightly different like how he would handle Watchmen later on.
