DescriptionWell , my search of a perfect Colan cost me around 5-6 years…and i wanted a perfect example of drawing and inking , and if was possible with one of his creations , when i saw this page in Heritage two years ago i know it was the page for me…but it gone to other hands , until i saw it later for sale and after a big big sacrifice of part of my collection , now is at home…This page is supercomplete , like no other one in the issue…Captain , Red Skull , Cosmic cube , Iron hand Hauptmann and the first app of Redwing ! Dont forget that this number 117 is the first App of the Falcon and Redwing which are Colan / Lee creations and was the first Marvel Afroamerican superhero Sinnott inking in this one is outstanding and he is for sure my favourite inker With the cover in Halperin hands and the first app of Falcon in Thomas Fish hands it was logical for me to get this one…i will never get nothing better ! Yesss ,Colan is a difficult artist like Cockrum , too much work but only a few work of true quality...when you read an issue maybe there are 2-3 quality pages inside, and in covers and splashes the same...when you think is your page , you see a defect , a bad draw face , a strange proportion body , a glued panel or something similar and wait for the next...

That is a genuine MASTERPICE from a Milestone issue. First appearance pages are very tough to find these days. Superb addition from a Silver Age iconic issue. Huge congrats my friend! I know the efforts you have done and you really deserves it. Enjoy it as we'll do it through your gallery.

3 splashes in one, and from a super important book! Stunning piece, Nebur, for real. That last Redwing panel is killer...and the others are, too! OK I'm talking in circles :) Huge congrats on checking this huge box off your collector list!

Stunnning Captain America page by the great Gene Colan and the equally great Joe SInnott! Fantastic art from the first panel to the last. I especially love that first panel with the Red Skull in Captain America's body holding the Cosmic Cube and gloating. But all three panels show Colan's phenomenal ability to draw action and movement. Plue you get Joe Sinnott's incredible inks, which make every page even better, in my personal opinion. What a great pick-up, congratulations!
