Description

This is page 4 of a 5 page sample story Danny Earls created in 2022 featuring the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, 5 Dinozords coming together to form the DINO MEGAZORD, and one gnarly looking Kaiju!

Danny's quickly become known for his signature cityscapes and dark, atmospheric scenes. I love that these pages unquestionably contain these elements, which landed him variant cover gigs with BOOM!, IDW, DC, Marvel, and interior work on the Incredible Hulk, Extreme Venomverse, Darth Vader: Black, White & Red, and more.

Danny left professional soccer/football after 10+ years and pivoted into the world of comics and I'm glad he did. I believe he landed his first published comic work in early 2023 and he's been delivering some wonderful artwork since.

I'll admit to not being familiar with Danny Earls' art, but your posts led me to checking out his other work that's on CAF, and the man has talent.

This has Earls' great touches of buildings, figurework, and his signature washtones! Very atmospheric showing how serious you can take the Power Rangers property!

The pencils and inks are nice, but the wash tones take the art to a higher level. So nice!

Moody and washy kaiju battle action ftw!!! I wasn't familiar with Danny before Felix's drop but taking a look at some of his art now, cool stuff. congrats on the 2 pieces from this sample story.

Love Dannys work and his story is equally intriguing. Lets all thank Gail Simone for championing his early work and bringing his work to a wider audience. Great pickup, man!
