Description

Page 15 from the very first issue of Martin Wagner's 'Hepcats'. This page sees Joey and Gunther playing a round of pool near the end of the comic. Always loved this series, even if it did only run for a few years, the crazy amount of attention to detail is to die for. Saw this on eBay a few months ago and was surprised it was even for sale.

Excellent pick up! First issues for indies always have the artists doing their best work as nothing is guaranteed. Wagner's late 80's fashions and permed hairstyle is a sign of the times we can celebrate.

Fantastic pickup. Loved Hepcats and was so, so disappointed it never got the chance to be finished.
