DescriptionOriginal title splash artwork for Punisher: Nightmare #1 page 3 (Marvel, 2013) by the talented Mark Texeira (pencils and inks). Impressive and fully brutal splash for the opening scene for this five-part saga as the Punisher stoically walks away from his latest victim, whom he just beat to a bloody pulp on the mean streets of New York to serve as an example to the local gang members. Frank Castle silently reflects his unaltered mindset, "But I couldn't protect my child from the Boogeyman. So I became the Boogeyman. I became the Monster. I became the Punisher." This classic page was likewise used as a poster, a solicitation and promo art for the series.Signed by Tex in top right margin with a cool remarque of Castle. Social/Sharing |
