Description

This is the first appearance of The Foreman. I love the interaction between The Foreman and Pigeon's Father. Even thought it looks as if the Father does not care for Pigeon at first he still tries to protect him. The look on the Fathers face and what he says to the Caretaker is great.

The Caretaker - "It is time for the harvest"
Pigeon's Father- "Aye, I'm afraid we have none to give"

Highlt acclaimed book and first issue as one of Remender's best made possible by Fiumara's imaginative design. The premise makes you think about societal norms, how there is a need to rethink how the world is run, and the struggle against the powers that be who will always deny change.
