Even though it's not, I like to think that's Superman flying overhead. Which is why Peter looks up in awe... :-)

And, really, how could you not get that vibe when you have Peter pulling open his shirt to reveal the Spidey symbol? I have to assume that was intentional on McNiven's part. Either way, as a Superman fan, I couldn't resist this opportunity to pick up a cover that seemed to bring the Man of Steel together with everyone's favorite neighborhood wall-crawler.

This is one of the few examples in my collection where I bought a piece without any attachment to the story. I can't even remember if I ever tracked down a copy to read afterwards. Doesn't matter though. This one puts a big smile on my face every time I see it.
