DescriptionSo many little things here (as always) that drew me to this. From the pencil trees in the rear to ... All about those boots...LOVE those boots. Storm, with an amazingly characteristic and awe inspiring entrance into the Ghost Box storyline... The expressions are magnificent here, as is the perspective. Love that this is his first X-men work other than Wolverine evolutions, and so many beautiful elements in this series throughout that truly defy description, must be seen in hand. The boots...check out them boots (sold the lady immediately LOL).Social/Sharing |

I like big boots and I cannot lie! Astonishing work, William! I love that this moment, with Storm's arrival back into the X-fold for this adventure, was heralded (and depicted) with such joy. Storm's gentle smile is upstaged by Beast's sincere expression of delight and adoration, and the page just exudes a warm "homecoming" feel. The boots are, indeed, spectacular, but the textures of the cloth of Storm's cape are what captivates me most here; Simone's investment of talent and energy into this page make it an absolute gem of a treasure, and there could be no more fitting place for it than in your collection, William. Gorgeous! Congrats, sir, and Happy 2023!
