Kieth is so avant garde mixing in underground and mainstream comics traditions! It may have a cartoony look at first, but then how is that twisted tree so fine?

Sam Kieth is outstanding... my first contact with his art was a Hulk fill-in in the early 90s, Natural Selection, and I instantly became a fan... still am today
