Description

This was a blast to do...a friend asked me to do my take on Hellboy for his collection and this was the result. I don't really take direct commissions much anymore, but this one
offered a chance to do a dark & spooky character, which meant lots of inky blacks, design, and shadows...like I said it was fun to do.---( I hope to have a better scan soon)

love the textures on the skull,if looks and "feels" like bone,not just hatched lines. and i'm not at all surprised townsend commented on this piece. :)

Signature characters are SO hard to pull off by other artists. Congrats on a great rendition of this very popular figure. Just about any piece with skulls on it is a winner with me, and this one is GREAT! Nice job Mikey! =)

I love this piece. The use of the skull in the back ground makes it. Your style reminds me of another great artist, Michael Golden.
