Description

Alex doesn't paint many covers with an Asian superhero as its' central focus, so when we saw this cover for The Marvels with Aero (Chinese female superhero) on the cover, we reached out again to Sal via Alex's website to offer it a new home.

The amount of detail in Alexs' cover paintings is unreal, zooming in to one section, for example, it could be also used as a wraparound cover of Iron Man battling two monsters with Aero and Spiderman in support.

On the cover, protecting the civilians are Aero, Black Cat, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spiderman and Kevin Schumer (the Tinkerers' nephew).

We also picked up the Preliminary sketch and framed it to accompany the painted cover. Needless to say, We are blessed to have this on our walls to inspire the kids each day.

Painted in gouache, 12.25" by 18.5"
