DescriptionThe thought of being able to become a superhero, simply through an oath/chant and a power ring that relies on our will and imagination, being a fan of Green Lanterns, is not hard.So for a double page opportunity with 18 (including Hal) members of the Green Lantern Corps on a great page spread as published in this final Justice #12 (2007), wowsers, we are lucky to have it on our walls (thank you Sal and Alex!). This is a series that was written by Alex Ross and Jim Krueger with pencils and layouts by Doug Braithwaite and fully painted by Alex Ross. The Green Lanterns that appear on these two pages are Arisia, Arkkis Chummuck, Ch'p, Charlie Vicker, Chaselon, Eddore, Galius Zed, Green Man, Hollika Rahn, Katma Tui, Larvox, Medphyll, NautKeLoi, Salaak, Stel, Tomar-Re and Xax! And to crown the page, is the quote from Hal to the Corps "I knew you'd come when called, I did not fear. I hoped..."; and so when Saint Walker places the blue ring to heal Hal in 2009 Green Lantern #38, coupled with his indomnitable will, turning Hal into a hybrid Green/Blue Lantern bearer was foreshadowed in this final issue of the Justice series. It so cool when stories link up under different writers, especially when it appears unintentional. Here's looking forward to the upcoming Lanterns series will give the good live action appreciation that the Green Lantern Corps deserve. A wonderfully large and inspiring piece of art on our walls. I do not know my lantern lore well enough to identify all these characters, but I do know a cool page.

Gorgeous! Gives you that kid-like feeling. If only superheroes could deal with our modern/global problems
