I have been a fan of Max his work since picking up Doctor Star. It wasn't until rereading the Abe Sapien stuff that I did a deepdive into his bibliography. I had been on the brink of commissioning him a couple of time but timing didn't work out.

When I saw his NYCC 23 list I knew I had to go for it and boy did Max deliver. This Guts piece might be my favorite of the once I have as he captured a more emotional and human version of the berserk maniac. I think Max spend a long time on that cape....
