Description

I discovered Andrew MacLean when attending an Image Comics panel for another creator. I can't remember who I originally went there to see, but walked away inspired to pick up Headlopper after hearing Andrew rave about his story. I got the first trade from his table that day, and the rest on the following after devouring the adventure.

I got on his sketch list in 2023 thanks to Felix and am blown away by his Rhino. The clean lines, tiny smoke puff, and detailed crosshatching continue to draw my eye.

I'm ashamed to say the water spot by his horn is my fault. I couldn't stop admiring it after picking it up at Baltimore ComicCon 2023 and didn't notice that it was raining outside! Thankfully it only suffered a single drop!
