Why risk waiting for an expensive commission when you can get a beautiful piece already done? Not that Ian's commissions are a risk - they're all spectacular.

This 12x18 Hellboy was done for the 'Tribute to Mike Mignola's Hellboy' exhibition at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Fransisco in late 2017. As you can see, this is the era of arrows in Ian's pieces but also includes his familiar and ongoing motifs of leaves and intestines.

I'll include a copy of the similarly-sized published exhibition catalogue which includes this piece along with the rest of the Hellboy pieces in the exhibition by artists like Mignola, Kieth, Dragotta, DWJ, Harren and others.
