Description

As soon as I saw this cover revealed I knew I had to have it (as has been the case with a few of Jenny's covers). It is no secret that I love Jenny Frison's art and style, but she has really been killing it on the Poison Ivy covers. Everything on this cover is nothing short of beautiful. The hair flowing around all of the flowers, the leaves on the body suit, that stare from Ivy's eyes, and the sensual lines of her physique, it all comes together in a stunning visual. Unlike the Nightmare Country cover I added to my collection earlier in the year which shines because of it's simplicity, this piece thrives on the combination of many overlapping, complex, beautiful elements. Additionally, Jenny used this as the cover for her Volume 13 artbook (see additional images, available starting at C2E2 2022). Like all of Jenny's OA, there are 2 pieces, one in tones and one for the lines, the lines can be seen in the additional images.

Very rare where the the red is the dominant color for Poison Ivy. In this form, Frisson's vision is that of a dream.
