DescriptionLOVE this cover. This is the first piece of art I've ever owned from Asrar and it does not disappoint. I saw this image posted and immediately made an inquiry on it as I was enamored with the Hellfire Gala version of Rogue that Asrar put to paper. There's a lot to like in this cover, 1) it's Rogue, 2) the dress, particularly the line work on the lace elements, 3) the attitude that exudes from Rogue's expression and body positioning/stance, and 4) the background elements and design really work for a setting against the formality of the gala dress. For a Rogue focused cover, this is perfection.Social/Sharing |

Ooh, this one hurts. I waited too long to ask about this piece, but your description is spot on- this is a beautiful image of Rogue, and that dress is just killer. I was hoping to add this to accompany my Larraz Hellfire Gala cover, but it's nice to at least see it up on CAF. If you ever decide to let it go...

That Larraz cover is also incredibly beautiful, I enjoy that one quite a lot as well. If you ever decided to let that go ... LOL, we'll see if one of us flinches first.

All I can say, this gives Alex Raymond a run for his money. The fine line work and blacks incredible. This transports one back to the days of fine art illustration.
