Description

Tula Lotay's work in Barnstormers is just incredibly beautiful. Her technique on the pages gives the art an almost ethereal look to it. Interestingly, Tula likes to draw panels on boards in no particular order and then reassemble the pages from the panels she's put down to board. This page contains panels from 2 different pages in Barnstormers #2 (the two published pages are in my additional photos). I bought this page because it's simply stunning and such a gorgeous, sexy set of panels.

Man. I need to get a piece by Tula soon. Some elegant stuff here, and love the textural elements, greys mixed with blues. Congrats!

Tula's art is in a category of its own. Instantly recognizable, stunningly beautiful, and with (as you noted) an ethereal quality that sets it apart from what we usually see in comic books.
