Description

I asked for the Shadow earlier this year when the Mystery Sketches were assigned. I was not familiar with Alberto Taracido, i am now. He knocked it out of of the park with this action oriented illustration.

The scarf being the only color and in red is striking. The sensation of the Shadow dropping and firing his .45's is very dynamic. The effect of the cloak merging with his body adds to pose.

Like a ghostly demon, the Shadow doesn't take on a definitive shape when he appears suspended in air with guns drawn!
