I met up with Richard Friend at artists alley in 2018 and bought a series of pages he had done with Ed Benes.Loved the story art and content of the book and finally decided to post these pages.

Absolutely stunning work by Ed Benes and Richard Friend on this page of Deathstroke. That second panel with Deathstroke being attacked by a silhouetted figure is drop dead gorgeous! I love the contrast between the silhouette and Deathstroke. It's so eerie as Deathstroke reallizes he's under attack and is thrown to the ground. The final panel with him preparing to re-engage his attacker and pulling out his sword, is killer! Gotta say I love Ed Benes' work here. He is an amazing artist. And so is inker Richard Friend. Both artists are a the top of their game here. Great pick-up, congrats!
