Description

I have been looking to add Elsa's amazing art to my collection and was excited to stumble on this page that was still available on her website. It's a fun story that shows how Batman can be perceived everywhere from savior to monster, and it's a great showcase for her work. This page is 11x17 ink on smooth Bristol board.

I would add that Elsa is a complete professional and a pleasure to work with. After ordering on the website, she sent me a personal email thanking me. The package arrived with a personal note too! The connection with the artists is a big part of my love for this hobby. It's so great when you find an artist that puts in the extra effort.

Batman B&W is a showcase of talents and to be selected for inclusion means that the artist is considered to be one of the most notable storytellers of the era. This is a wonderful Batman vs Man-Bat piece and the action in the center panel is a high point in the short story. It is seen here as it is seen published and it is impressive.

I enjoyed this story, but LOVED the art from it! Charretier really is amazing and seems to get better with everything she does. I'd love to see more stories with Batman by her. Huge congrats!
