This was the highlight of my Comic Art Live 2024 experience!

Never in a million years did I think I'd get OA from Batman #1! The David Finch era of Batman volume 3 still remains as the highlight of the entire volume, even after 150-plus issues.

This page features Batman being badass Batman, saving Gotham City. His city (paging Tom King).

Batman #1 vol.3 was produced traditionally and I recently found out that issues 1-11 of New 52 Batman was produced with inks over blue lines. That means Batman #1 volumes 1&3 are the only Batman #1's produced with inks on pencils. Obviously there are only three volumes of Batman to date, making Finch's launch on the run a pivotal piece of Batman's history.
