Description

Hourman and Dr. Midnight appear in their original costumes on this rare early splash page by the characters' creator, Todd McFarlane, which was part of DC's epic "Crisis" crossover event. McFarlane was showing a knack for creating bold pages -- getting the hang of creating dynamic characters while illustrating his affinity for detail -- even sneaking his wife's name, Wanda, into background on one of the storefronts.

Fantastic splash and as someone living in the Carolinas it's pretty cool to see a story set in the Carolinas.
