10-7/8x16" artboard has pen and ink original art for page 22 of Giant-Size Super-Heroes Featuring Spider-Man #1, published by Marvel June 1974. Art is by Gil Kane (1926-2000) w/inks by Mike Esposito (1927-2010). Part of Gerry Conway's Man-Wolf At Midnight! story, page features five panels, showing action-packed battle between Spider-Man and Man-Wolf that takes place in the third act - When Strikes The Vampire! - a reference to Morbius, who also appears in this issue (but not on this page). Spider-Man appears in every panel, joined by Man-Wolf in first four panels. Top margin has "Marvel Giant-Size Super-Stars" stamped title, w/"Stars" crossed out and "Heroes" written in red felt tip pen beside it. Top right has red felt tip pen page number and bottom margin has small page number and continuation strip taped in place. First panel has text replacement strip taped in place w/masking tape on back. Back has Marvel copyright inkstamp. 1" spot of faint staining on/between third and fifth panels w/some small scattered traces of aging. Art remains VF overall. Giant-Size Super-Heroes Featuring Spider-Man was intended to be an ongoing series, but only one issue was published and the series was rebranded as Giant-Size Spider-Man (w/new numbering). Comes w/reading copy of the comic this original art was created for.
