Description

2012 An original ink wash piece that was purchased directly from Duncan�s online store. It would eventually be published in the sketchbook section of the Hellboy Library Edition volume 6 hardcover The Storm & The Fury / The Bride of Hell (pg. 417). I have always loved Duncan�s take on a young Hellboy. This piece predates Hellboy: The Midnight Circus. A story I consider to be Duncan�s best work in comics. A4 approximate. Image area: 8.5 x 6 in.

The gray wash tones give this a newspaper photo feel. The shape of the horns feel like hair flowing back!
