Description


As a Dan DeCarlo fan, I wanted a page from one of his 
“Josie and The Pussycats” stories. When the “Group Gripe”
five-page story became available, I was happy to add
it to my collection.

In the story, Josie and her Pussycats have hit the big time. 
They have adoring fans, they play packed venues, and they 
travel in a corporate jet. I preferred the group when they
enjoyed a simpler lifestyle. They seemed to do so, too. In
the story, they’re all tired of the gig.
 
The story is from “Archie’s T.V. Laugh-Out #105” (1986). 
The inks are by James DeCarlo, Dan’s son, who made a career
working as an inker. Each page is 11” x 17” on art board. 
This is the first page of the story.
