Description

I�m pretty sure I could ask Chris to draw someone eating dirt and I�d still be hyped to get it. His style just fits everything so well. I was torn between getting a Spidey piece or doing something to honor his Batman and Robin: Year One comic, and I�m so glad I went with Batman. That cape alone is worth it (plus everything else, obviously). Huge thanks to Chris and Laura!

This probably doesn't work as well if it was in color as the contrasts Samnee plays with are part of his true talent in design. Very dnamic as the lighting plays such a big part of what we see in full detail and what he leaves solid as a background.

I love the way this gives a strong sense of movement. Batman's cape gives the impression the battling duo are falling straight down, while their poses says they're also moving toward each other.
