Description

I always enjoy a battle cover so I was more than happy to add this piece to the collection, especially with the classic imagery of a defeated Vader. The purple and black contrast on this painting is just amazing. A sight to behold in person.

As a bonus, this cover was also used for the TBP collection.

Great choice of colors! Vader with his arm cut off is pretty gruesome, too.

Nobody talks about Luke's sister that way and gets away with it. Not even their dad! The Hoth Leia and Jedi Luke action figures exist, but the dismembered body only comes in the C3-PO model. The purples are an unexpected twist from the lighting.

Even though Vader seems to be defeated, there is still such an aura of darkness in the scene - I don't think Luke's trials are finished yet. Fantastic cover!
