DescriptionThis is the original art used for Daughters of the Dragon (2006) book 5 cover. Of the 6 covers for the series, this one was a clear favorite. Khari did a really special job adding hip hop/urban street wear undertones to this 6 book run, and I felt this cover was the best one to capture this. Incorporating this added a ton of culture, style, and most of all, attitude to this reboot that made fall in love with these characters all over again. His art was a perfect fit for the Gray and Palmiotti storytelling. This cover is one of the few examples of an artist adaptation clearing original costumes for meSocial/Sharing |
