Batman #155 - “The Dying City”

Well, I really have to blame new buddy Steve M for introducing me to the amazing work of Jorge Fornes. When I saw this striking Batman page pop up for sale on Black Diamond gallery, I couldn't resist giving it a new home.

Watching Batman soar off into the night in the final half-splash panel is an eye-catcher!

The cityscape is a character all unto itself! It looks like Batman is diving into its mouth!

Love Jorge's Toth/Mazzucchelli vibes and it fits so well with Batman and the detective/noir moments.
