DescriptionAnother page from one of my favorite what if issues!! And what a great what if it was… Professor X the most powerful telepath grabs the ruby and gets all the physical power to match his mind! And of course the mutants rule the world.. and chaos ensues!This pages features Warrens (the angel) overzealous squad about to beat on some subjugated flatscans! Angel Quicksilver and Unus had enough attitude in the 616 .. so they were surely over the top here! Jean and Scott start to question what’s going on… and the insurrection begins! What if I’m this timeframe was a proving ground for new talent.. I always (maybe it’s the nostalgia talking) thought Vince Mielcarek did a nice job with the designs on these alternate costumes and he and Brian Garvey did a decent enough job on the art. Thanks to the Prof Derek for the lead on finding these pages!!! 🤔 am I on the path to try to put another book together??? Nah! Social/Sharing |

The Waht If Series have always been one of the most fun series to see, up and coming artist, crazy stories, things that one day may become more than a WHAT IF

Fun find!!! The What If series back in the 90s always offered a fun read (at least to me) and as a kid it def helped not having to worry about continuity or prior established knowledge. I really like the cityscape background in panel 3, and that splashy final group panel is also pretty solid!

I remember reading this book in high school and drawing my own cover version of my idea (What If The Juggernaut Became a Member of the Serpent Society?)...
