If it serves the story, it can make sense but this is not a pleasant scene despite the gorgeous art.

I agree entirely. I'm not even sure whether I think it is ok or not but such horrible events do need depicting sometimes.....Jodie Foster's "The Accused" trod a similar path

I love the art and used to own it. It's disturbing nature allowed me to sell it. The face in the last panel is so beautiful with detail. I regret giving up my only Rogers page. I am glad it came to rest in your collection, M👍

Getting any original art by Marshall is great but getting this page is a bonus. Of its not for everybody (I am not I would keep it if I had it) but nonetheless very memorable.

It was fundamental to her origin and it would be her motivation to become Scorpio Rose and seek revenge on the Mandragore. The only page in the issue that would warrant the story to go to Eclipse rather than be in Marvel/Epic.
