I am a big fan of Erwin Papa. His interpretation of Modok is classic. The amount of detail in the piece is incredible as is the inking.

Modok, whose name translates to Mental/Mobile/Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing, is a Marvel villain that was introduced all the way back in 1967. He quickly became a regular in Captain America comics and eventually became popular enough to occupy pages in The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, and Ms. Marvel, to name a few.

So grotesque in design. Yet so handsome in Papa's execution in homage to the Kirby-ness of MODOK.
