Great cover as it is the second issue with her new costume! 70's Cockrum here is right after his first X-Men run, so you see a lot of character and cover design similarities and a lot of high octane action!

So much going on in this cover and yet the composition works well, really pulls your eye around the cover! I can only imagine how eye popping this would have looked on the original spinner racks.

I think it says a lot about Cockrum's status at Marvel, and indeed, in the business at the time, that Marvel greenlit this cover. How many Marvel covers are out there, that has the hero be such a tiny part of the overall design. Even being dead center, it takes a moment to actually locate her on the cover, yet this is one of the most awesomely powerful pieces I've ever seen.
