DescriptionA couple of years ago, this cover popped up on the Facebook DOND (Deal or No Deal) sales group. I absolutely loved the image and made an offer right away, which was accepted. I paid immediately. About five minutes after I completed the payment, a good friend, messaged me and warned me to stop the transaction! He owned the cover, and I was getting scammed! Luckily, I paid via goods and services and was able to get my money back (a valuable life lesson here)—no harm, except for missing out on some great art.Fast forward to earlier this week, and I see the real cover posted to the DOND group! This time, I knew it was legitimate and made sure to bring it home for good. Dave Hoover illustrates an action-packed battle cover featuring a great image of The Punisher protecting a curvy blond bombshell from a dime-store terminator. My kind of thing! Punisher is just in my top 3 favorite characters. So it was nice to see it in your collection. haha!

Damn, this is a really cool Punisher cover! But how do you expect me to stay focused and compliment the Punisher content when you keep distracting me with dem titties?!? And this time, even with dem tight ass glutes!

Except for the female figure, the art is giving me sort of a Tex vibe. Anyway, glad you didn't get taken the first time and eventually ended up with the real deal.

Nice cover piece, the world of scamming really scares me. Glad it eventually came to fruition, but scary to think of any potential pieces we may have as being fakes and not knowing.

Very cool Punisher cover by Dave Hoover! Classic '90s cover by a classic '90s artist! There's a real slickness to Dave's art. He always used a strong light source and that allowed him to use deep shadows and shiny surfaces. The light wrapping around Punisher here really helps to accentuate his arm and chest muscles, giving him a powerful look. The Eradikator's costume has such a 90s vibe with the huge shoulders! And of course what would any 90s cover be without a buxom babe in distress? Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
