DescriptionI couldn't believe my luck when Dick had these pages available. I politely asked for the page with Kal's ship rocketing off and the full page splash with him breaking chains. He asked me if I would be more inclined to buy the three consecutive pages because someone already asked him for the splash. I said sure and am happy with my selection. I used to flip through the Power Records comic book and stare at each page. So definitely a bucket list set of pages.Social/Sharing |

Great origin pages! This was done right around the Superman 1978 movie and around the time Buckler decided to go with a Neal Adams style that Giordano gladly inked.

I love that Buckler worked that way and being teamed up with Giordano was icing on the cake.

Spot-on, as usual, Marcus. Buckler/Adam's with Giordano icing the cake. That Superman on page two was perfect.
