Description

When I was a kid I was absolutely in love with Flash Gordon. There were a few published albums with black and white art, and I remember borrowing them from the library and later inheriting them from a cousin, thank you to him. This was at a time when I knew nothing about dates, authors, and so many years later I was shocked that these pages were incredibly old. This painting is simply stunning in person and I love it. Sanjulian is masterful painter.

Masterful painting that Sanjulian locks in with that varishish. All that muscle and bulk here with Flash having the classic circus strongman look. By comparison, it is more contemporary compared to the historical viking warrirors.
