Description

Two of Marvel's most popular heroes team-up -- resulting in a small disagreement, which sets the scene for this battle cover from the Marvel one-shot. Wolverine slashes with his Adamantium claws at the ever elusive web-slinger, but on this original art, it appears the deadly X-Man might have connected with a couple shots, as Spidey's sporting rips on his arm, leg, and back. This damage was removed later in production, as well as some other slight alterations to Spider-Man's mask and shadowing of his leg, with the differences evident on the printed cover. This piece provides a pure feeling of nostalgia for 1980s Marvel fans that were lucky enough to grab this one from the comic rack!
