DescriptionSo.....I have always liked George Pratt....art. Ever since I picked up Wolverine: Netsuke I have tried to follow everything he did. Sad to say, even though I knew of Harvest Breed, I have never read it. I still recognize a few of the iconic images from the book though because I remember it being solicited hard. When I saw this page pop up on CAF I instantly recognized it as one of those iconic images.Shocked to see it pop up and even more shocked to get it at a very fair price. My scan is truer to original color. The published page I posted was definitely lightened up and enhanced. All I need is a nice Enemy Ace page and I can put a fork in my Pratt search. Social/Sharing |

Great looking page. I think it's a travesty that DC manipulated Pratt's intent for the published comic.

Dark and gothic! From Pratt's stunning tour de force one shot!

If it wasn't in the title I'd have no idea it was related to Batman, but the fact that it is makes it even more interesting! Gotham Cathedral looks striking under Pratt's paints. Agree that the published feels a bit too bright for what the original art's intention was, but you've got the art to look at. Congrats!

I'm glad this found a good home with a collector who appreciates it. When I bought this, I drove down with my wife from the Twin Cities in MN to Chapel Hill, NC to pick it up, 22 years ago. 17 hours each way. We got to spend some time with George and his family before returning home. It has always been in the top three collecting highlights of my life. A somber, meditative piece by one of the finest artists of his generation.
