Description24 x 38!There just aren't enough interiors from Paul Pope to satisfy the demand from all his collector fans. So happy to have pages from his fun superhero work at both Marvel and DC. Pope did one of the great strips in this amazing project, envisioned by comics visionary, Mark Chiarello. He gives us a fantastic Adam Strange story while being able to introduce new readers to understand the background of his character all in a collection of Sunday style strips. His brush line, style, layouts just pop at all times. Pope is at the very top of my modern comics creators list. Any fan of Pope knows that he works big. Usually 19 x 24. For these Wednesday comics strips, he created each of the 2 tiers on separate 19 x 24 boards. So we are talking 24 x 38 for each page of his story! I combined them for the image but please take a look at each separate tier in higher quality in the additional images. Social/Sharing |

Gorgeous work from a master. I had ZERO idea these pages were that big. Must be really impressive in person.

I love these Pope pages. This was probably my favorite story from Wednesday Comics. You can see really see the passion Pope put into these pages. Congrats.

OUstanding! We think of Pope's pin up-y stuff first, with good reason, but check that uniquely brush work on the storytelling here! Love seeing this stuff. Congrats!

Hey, this is a really wicked rendition of Adam Strange! You were right, Jason. I'm also digging this more than his Batman work!

Fun! Always been a fan of Adam Strange. Coincidentally, a big fan of Pope. Just a great combo!!

Wednesday Comics, but Sunday sized design! The bigger space allows for larger scale contrasts with open space to contrast with the closeups.
