Description

You can't seriously talk about space opera and not mention this film. You can see why it's Alex Ross's all-time favorite movie, and why, according to actor Brian Blessed (who played the scene-stealing Prince Vultan), it was also Queen Elizabeth II's favorite film, who watched it with her grandchildren every Christmas (God bless her soul). But for me, it's the music of Queen, right at the very start of the film, that takes me back to my childhood when i watched it in awe for the very first time. And that is enough.
